R -- ASSIST AIDS DRUG ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SOL HRSA-98-HAB-061888 DUE 062698 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Erica Buehrens, 1661 Crescent Place, NW, Apt. 606, Washington, DC 20009. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding data collection and management and information dissemination vital to the operation of the AIDS Drug Assistance Program Branch in the HIV/AIDS Bureau, HRSA. The contractor shall analyze, evaluate and make recommendations regarding the State-based and internal data systems that support HRSA's AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP); perform analyses of new treatment therapies and of their impact on State formularies and develop a series of documents essential for effective management of the ADAP; organize conference calls among the ADAP and its grantees based on technical assistance needs identifiedduring this project; and produce a final report. Ms. Erica Buehrens is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
