Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit on a full and open competition basis the acquisition of total conference management support for the DOD Worldwide Education Symposium to be held 14-19 May, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency DFW, Dallas/Fort Worth, Dallas, TX. Total conference management encompasses managing all aspects of the exhibits hall area, providing for the registration of participants and exhibitors, developing informational material and signs, greeting participants, working with the hotel on all aspects of the conference. The worldwide symposium will have between an estimated 900-1200 participants, to include military personnel, government employees, college university personnel, higher educational officials, and for-profit and non for-profit organizations. Services are required 1 October 1998 or date of award through 12 months, with two (2) one (1) year renewal options. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be fully considered bythe Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia. Requests for solicitation should be made by letter or telegram to FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia, code 0343C. The Request for Proposals is expected to be issued approximately 26 June 1998.
