The American Embassy Vienna, Austria requires the operation and management of local guard service in order to prevent unauthorized access, protect life, maintain order, deter criminal attacks against employees, dependents and property and terrorist acts against all U.S. assets, and prevent damage to Government property. The Contractor shall furnish managerial administrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work as required in the contract. The estimated number of hours for guard services (armed and unarmed), per year is 48,828 hours and supervisory guards is estimated at 3,948 hours per year. Contract period is one year with four, one-year options to renew. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on the Internet at the address listed below.
