Y -- AIRCREW COMBAT TRAINING SYSTEM RANGE SUPPORT AND RADAR APPROACH CONTROL FACILITY SOL FQBACE-8133-0200 POC Contract Specialist Brenda Outman, Contract Spec (517) 483-5926 (Site Code W56LS9) PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project consists of constructing a new, two story building using structural steel framing, masonry and glass exterior finishes, combination single ply membrane and metal roofing, various interior finishes, construction of all necessary electrical lighting and power, rough-in of communications systems, installation of complete fire detection and suppression systems and installation of complete hearing, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The total size of the structure is approximately 28,000 square feet. The existing building site is relatively free of trees and shrubs requiring minimal clearing and earthwork. Project includes the relocation and/or extension of water, sewer, gas and electric lines and communications ducts as well as the removal of some existing asphalt paving and the construction of new concrete and asphalt parking areas and drives. A firm fixed priced contract award is anticipated. The contractor will provide all plant, labor, materials and supervision necessary to accomplish the above described work. All work is located on the Air National Guard operated area if Alpena County Regional Airport, Alpena, Michigan. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
