The site is located along the south side of Readiness Circle opposite the Air Reserve Center. The site gently slopes to its northwest corner and is approximately 3.2 hectares is size. This project is issued as a Design/Build Request For Proposal(D/B -- RFP). This solicitation was prepared just prior to this advertisement. Design and construct Base Civil Engineering Complex. The main building is known as the Main Building which has four main features: Pavement and Grounds, Shops and Warehouse, Administration and Break Area. The other building are the Entomology Lab, the Storage Building and the Open Air Pavilion. The three later buildings are considered Options. The Main Building includes a complete structure with hookup of all utilities, fire protection, interior finishes and associated pavement and grounds. The building and grounds is 4702 square meters. The Entomology Lab is 198 square meters. The Storage Shed is 180 square meters. The Open Air Pavilion is 112 square meters. Proposals received from this solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria, listed in relative order of importance: A. Experience. B. Technical Approach. C. Project Management. D. Price Proposal. There will be a Pre-proposal Conference at Grissom ARB, Building 596 on 7 July 1998 at 9:00am (local time). Estimated Value -- $5,000,000 to $10,000,000.
