Solicitation Notice -- IFB N68711-98-B-1114, CORRECT POTABLE WATER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM (TP-9878MS) -- The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision and incidental work for the construction of the following: a. Replace existing 20-inch and 16-inch butterfly valves with new butterfly valves at various locations along the two 20-inch transmission pipelines. b. Replace existing flow meters at Mainside reservoir with new flow meters and piping. c. Furnish and install new flow meters, piping modifications and seismic appurtenances at the Equalization Tank site. d. Furnish and install pressure reducing stations at various locations on the well transmission pipeline. e. Furnish and install a new 50,000 gallon welded steel surge tank including piping, altitude valve, fencing, drain piping, cathodic protection and all related appurtenances. f. Rehabilitate eleven (11) existing water wells including, but not limited to, removal of existing well pumps, motors, piping, electrical and controls; clean, surge and bail existing well casings; install new submersible well pumps and motors including piping, flow meters, electrical and controls. g.
