Work shall include demolition of existing steam heating system and partial demolition of the air distribution system. The new system shall consist of an air- cooled chiller at ground level, new fan coils with electric heat and a new chill water pump. Removal of some equipment shall require abatement of asbestos. The period of performance is 180 calendar days. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The estimated range for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will be subject to the Small business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business, SIC 1711 for this acquisition the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million.
