Renovations and alterations to convert the former post office space on
the first floor into prisoner holding area and Marshal's squad
facilities consisting of approximately 596 sq. meters. Also, renovation
and alterations to the existing Marshal's area on the seventh floor
into a training and locker area consisting of approximately 115 sq.
meters. Generally, the work includes selective demolitions, various
alterations to existing walls, erection of new partitions, insertion of
new ceilings providing new finishes and built-in equipment's and
additions and alterations to HVAC, plumbing, fire protections, and
electrical systems. Estimated range of project is $1 to $5 million.
Solicitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 1998. Bid opening is
scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 1998. Time for completion is 240
days. Fee for plans and specifications in a non-refundable payment of
$91.00. Make cashiers' check or money order payable to GSA 2PMC-U.
