42 -- DISPERSAL NOZZLE FOR THE FIELD AMMUNITION ARTILLERY SUPPORT VEHICLE (FAASV) DUE 072798 POC Paul Veselenak (810) 574-7246 TACOM plans to acquire 950 each, 90 Degree Dispersal Nozzle, Dual Spectrum Part Number 420076; and 6,500 each, 180 Degree Dispersal Nozzle, Dual Spectrum Part Number 420079. These 2 Nozzles are needed to convert to a dry powder fire extinguishing system for the FAASV engine compartment. Dual Spectrum is the only source whose nozzles have been tested and approved for this procurement. The FAASV is an aluminium-hulled, tracked vehicle which supplies ammunition to the M109 self-propelled howitzers. This synopsis is for subcontracting possibilities. See Note 22. (0161)
