This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by Kaiser Electroprecision and others as well as some items which appear on a Qualified Products List (QPL). The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 4 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data;therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10U.S.C. 2304(c((1). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
