This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12-6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only Request for Proposal. A written request for proposal will not be issued. The request for proposal document and contract incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-44. The Television-Audio Support Agency intends to buy 6 each VAL4/SM-T Fiber Optic Transmitter (Radiant) and 6 ea VAL4/SM-R Fiber Optic Receiver (Radiant). This equipment will transmit four channels of baseband audio and video over one single-mode fiber, meet RS250 medium-haul broadcast specifications (NTSC), 7 MHz bandwidth, and 58 dB signal to noise ratio, and transmit up to 50km or longer. The items are to be delivered to AFIT/LSE, Bldg 641, Room 118, Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7765.
