99 -- FOCUS SUSTAINMENT SOL DAAE0798RT600 DUE 073098 POC POC: Contract Specialist -- J. Check-Sanchez (checksaj@cc.tacom.mil) DESC: Focus Sustainment. The U. S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command intends to issue a competitive solicitation, DAAE07-98-R-T600, for a four-year task order contract with two (2) three year options. The contract will be for maintenance assistance services, technical assistance services, training, etc., that will supplement field operations for rediness sustainment on all TACOM managed systems. There will be up to six (6) contracts awarded based on offers on the entire scope of work that represent the best value to the Governmnet. As many as two of the contracts may be set-aside for Small Businesses and as many as two (2) of the contracts may be set-aside for qualified 8(a) suppliers. The contracts will be task order contracts in which the awardees will form a pool of contractors that will compete for task orders. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
