Zander, Purchasing Agent, 410-278-6515, Jean Craig, Contrcting Officer,
410-278-6517 The Army Research Laboratory intends to negotiate with
Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab to perform a system study
to examine the feasibility of a full bandwidth GPS translator as a
highly accurate time, space, position information (TSPI) source for the
test and evaluation (T&E) of high flight dynamic projectiles and
missiles. This effort supports The Hardened Subminiature Telemetry and
Sensor System (HSTSS). The feasibility study must also provide a plan
for "commercialization" of such a system providing estimates of the
funding profile to establish a commercial source for such a complex
measurement system. Experience with post processing of GPS and inertial
measurement instruments (IMU) to provide TSPI and angular position data
must be demonstrated so as to assess the establishment/transfer of this
ability to the government. Demonstrated experience in all of these
areas by a single source is required. Interested persons may identify
their interest and capability. Information received will be considered
only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive
procurement. Capabilities statements referencing W26238 8149-4001 may
be faxed to (410) 278-6522. No telephone requests will be honored. See
