Adams, (202) 720-3082 The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to procure Furniture Rehabilitation Services for the Centralized Excess Property Operations (CEPO), Landover Service Center, Landover, MD. Primary services will be provided by the Federal Prison Industries, Inc., also referred to as UNICOR. This requirement will be a back-up to the primary service provided by UNICOR. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment and facilities necessary to repair, rehabilitage, modify, construct and refinish Government owned furniture. All furniture shall be restored as nearly as possible to a condition and appearance comparable to the item when new. The place of performance is unknown. A wage determination will be requested for possible places of performance 15 days from this notice. A final request for a wage determination will be requested 15 day from the issuance date of the solicitation. Potential bidders must submit a written request to be included in the final request. This procurement isfor a base and 4 option years. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7641 and the size standard is $5 million.
