Z -- REPLACE PCB TRANSFORMERS AND REGULATORS SOL YTPM 96-7022 DUE 070198 POC Michael I LaFortune, Contracting Officer or Donald P Hebert, Contract Specialist at 413/557-2603 Project YTPM 96-7022 consists of the removal and replacement of eight (8) PCB transformers, removal of one (1) airfield regulator, removal of one (1) PCB transformer and incidental related work. Work shall be performed at five (5) different building locations. The work at each location is as follows: Bldg. 1529, remove and dispose of one (1)15 KVA transformer containing 60 gallons of contaminated oil; Bldg 7061, remove and dispose of three (3) single phase 167 KVA transformers each containing 64 gallons of oil. Replace with one (1) three phase, 500 KVA pad mount transformer; Bldg 7062, remove and dispose of one (1) step regulator containing 90 gallons of oil; Bldg 7700, remove and dispose of three (3) single phase 75 KVA transformers each containing 60 gallons of oil. Replace with one (1) three phase 225 KVA pad mount transformer; Bldg 8300, remove and dispose of one (1) single phase 25 KVA transformer containing 26 gallons of oil. Replace with one (1) 25 KVA distribution type transformer and Bldg 8410, remove and dispose one (1) single phase 25 KVA transformer containinf 26 gallons of oil. Replace with one (1) 25 KVA distribution type transformer. Incidental work such as fences, concrete pads, bollards, site work and landscaping adjacent to the building is included. Construction will be phased to minimize the impact of power disruptions on the airfield. One job, Project YTPM 96-7022. Bid issue on or about 20 July 98. Bid opening on or about 31 August 98. Performance period will one hundred eighty nine (189) calendar days. Estimated range of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
