The Navy requires an arming test on four each FSU-5 Safety, Arming and Fuzing Units using a test fixture identical to that used during acceptance testing in accordance with acceptance test specification TS30873-732. The Navy will furnish the four Units for this testing requirement. The requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis from Bulova Technologies L.L.C., 101 North Queen Street, Lancaster, PA 17604-4787, since this is the only company that has the test system to reproduce the original test results. A fixed priced purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that a formal Request for Quote not be issued. This procurement is exclusively reserved for Small Business Concerns in accordance with FAR 52.219-6; the applicable Standard Industrial Classification is 2892 and the size standard is 750 employees or less. The test report shall be completed no later than 31 August 1998, or no more than 30 days after receipt of the fuzes (whichever is later).The fuzes shall be returned to the Government after testing.
