Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price modification under the FY97 Harpoon Weapon System (HWS) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract. This modification supports the requirement to provide various training presentations to a FMS customer receiving supplies and services under this contract. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to McDonnell Douglas Corp., a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. McDonnell Douglas is the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the Harpoon Weapon System and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities and experience to perform this effort within the required time frame.
