combination synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with Federal
Acquisition Regulation subpart 12.6 for commercial items as
supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This
solicitation is issued as a request for Quotation (RFQ) using
solicitation number F0561198T1769. This acquisition is for Low Force
Nut (LFN). Manufactured by Starsys in Boulder, Colorado,.
(303-530-1925x110). This is an approved sole source acquisition as
authorized by AFFAR SUPP 5313.106 under Simplified Acquisition
Procedures. No Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be issued. All
interested sources may identify their product by submitting a complete
quote, to include pricing data, an accurate description of the
equipment offered and make and model numbers of the equipment in
accordance with instructions listed below. Only responses containing
this data will be considered. If no favorable responses are received by
close of business 7 calendar days from the date this notice appears in
the CBD, a purchase order will be negotiated with the above named
source. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04.
