70 -- UPGRADE TO LIMS SOFTWARE SOL 98-SQ-34-00191 DUE 061898 POC Virginia Toledo, Contracting Officer, 520 343-8136 The Bureau Of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma Desalting Plant, Yuma, Arizona 85364 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Laboratory Information & Management Systems, Inc. (LIMS), 4000 Hollywood Blvd., Suite 240 North, Hollywood, FL 33021-6752 to upgrade existing LIMS software with the following line items: (1) StartLIMS Version 8.0 Core Software, (2) User license for five concurrent users, (3) five days upgrade services, (4) five days on-site training Version 8.0, (5) One year Start LIMS Silver Support Contract, (6) Crystal Reports Pro Version 6, (7) One day Service to convert R&R reports to Crystal Reports, (8) One day Service to convert Validation Conditions, (9) and One day Training/ Consultation On-Site Service. Competition is restricted to only one source due to exclusive licensing agreements held by LIMS. The delivery date is September 30, 1998. This procurement will be awarded using the procedures for the acquisition of commercial items under the simplified acquisition threshold.. The anticipated award date is June 19, 1998. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The quotation shall show the sources capability to provide the required upgrade to the existing LIMS software.
