In Phase 4 of the contract DAMD17-91-C-1115, "Development of a Standard for the Health Hazard Assessment of Mechanical Shock and Repeated Impact in Army Vehicles", experimental data was collected on a DEC Vax 4000 and PC Computers in General Data Analysis Program (GEDAP) and Optotrak format. GEDAP is a proprietary software package develooped by the National Research Council of Canada. Optotrak software is part of the Optotrak data collection system used to measure position data at the spine. Approximately 36 Gigabytes of data were saved on magnetic tape, readable by a DEC 4000 computer. It is intended to enter into a purchase order with the original contractor, BC Research, Inc., on a sole source basis to accommplish the effect. (0162)
