The synopsis modified on 11/17/97 is hereby further modified to change the description of the requirement, as follows. DELETE: "The EPA anticipates full and open competition resulting in an award of an indefinite quantity, cost plus fixed fee, level of effort contract with term form and/or completion form deliver orders. The base year will consist of 24 months with a minimum amount of 2,080 hours, beginning Jan. 1, 1999. The contract will provide 3 option periods, 12 months each, with a minimum amount of 1,040 hours each period. The maximum life of the contract, base year plus the 3 option periods, if exercised, will be 5 years with a maximum amount not to exceed 66,000 hours." REPLACE with: "The EPA anticipates full and open competition resulting in an award of a cost plus fixed fee contract with term form and/or completion form work assignments. In addition, some of the completion form work assignments may be issued on a firm fixed price basis. The period of performance will be for 5 years. The base quantity for the term form will be for 7,375 hours. There will be 19 option increments at 3,250 hours per increment, for a total optional amount of 61,750 hours. Total hours for the entire term form segment of the contract, including options if exercised, are 69,125. The contract will contain a ceiling of $220,000 on the overall amount of completion work assignments that may be issued. This ceiling is not a base quantity amount. (0162)
