S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH SPFFA. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the South Pacific Forum Fisheries Agency (SPFFA). Purpose of proposed contract is to coordinate the Conference on the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks on the Central and Western Pacific. Conference will be held in Tokyo, Japan during 6/98. Proposed contractor will provide Conference coordination and travel support to ensure participation by island nations. SPFFA only known organization that represents the fishing interests of many island nations in the Pacific Ocean.
