The 3U Ziatech Compact Peripheral Component Interconnection Computer shall include the following: (1) 3U CPU/Pentium-200mhz with 32 MB RAM, (2) 3U CPCI Card Cages -- 8 slots, (3) 150 watts CPCI Hot Swap P/S, (4) Super VGA Cards for CPCI, (5) Ethernet Card, (6) Fast Wide SCSI, (7) two each Multi I/O Cables, (8) IDE Controller and 1.4 GB HDD, (9) Quad Serial Interface, (10) 150 watts CPCI Hot Swap DC P/S, and (11) three each Ziatech manuals. It is the intent of the Government to award this contract to Ziatech Corporation (c/o Technology Sales, Inc.), 9025 Chevrolet Drive, Suite H, Ellicott City, MD 21042, on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Extensive market research has demonstrated that Ziatech Corporation is the manufacturer and that Technology Sales, Inc. is the sole distributor of Ziatech's systems. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
