As a matter of policy, the Office of Job Corps encourages competition and seeks to afford the opportunity to as many new potential offerors as possible to compete for contracts to operate Job Corps centers, and/or to provide outreach/admission and placement services. To that end, the Office of Job Corps will hold its annual Job Corps Seminar on July 21-24, 1998, in Washington, D.C. The Seminar will cover Job Corps program content, the procurement process, and may include a tour of a local Job Corps center. All participants must register in advance and slots per organization may be limited. Requests for reservations to the Seminar should be mailed to Andra Rebar, Office of Job Corps, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Room N4510, Washington, D.C. 20210.
