The solicitation packages will be available on July 15, 1998 with an anticipated bid opening on or about August 7, 1998. The successful bidder will be responsible for radiology interpretations in a professional nature, as being provided in the method as considered normal in the local community. They will provide the institution with radiology interpretations of all x-ray films taken on inmate patients. They will perform specialized tests, perform all fluoroscopy examinations as scheduled, give written reports on interpretation. The successful contractor must be Board Certified and licensed to practice Radiology. The contract period is for one year with two one year options to extend the term of the contract. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pass a background investigation. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
