The U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, Texas, intends to issue a sealed bid for the purpose of obtaining property management and real estate brokerage services for the Homeowner's Assistance Program at Fort Polk, LA. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price indefinite quantity service contract for a base year with a one year option period. This solicitation is unrestricted. The size standard to qualify is $1.5 million under SIC code 6531. The services are for single and multi-family properties acquired by the Government from individuals previously associated with the Fort Polk installation. Services include listing properties on MLS, conducting market analysis, maintenance, clean-up, repairs, lawn care, winterizing and minimum security (locks and board-ups). Contractor will receive a sales commission for selling properties at the local area rate. There will be an estimated 70 properties assigned for management and sale during the possible two year contract period. The Contractor must have an office located either in Leesville, DeRidder, or any location in between and be able to manage properties in both Beauregard and Vernon Parish. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. Solicitation will be issued on or about 2 July 1998, and bid opening date will be on or about 3 August 1998.
