The Government intends to issue a sole source modification to IMDT/The Travel Company, 1437 Old Square Road, Suite 204, Jackson, MS 39211 under contract number F38601-93-C0006 to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform interim commercial travel services at Shaw AFB, SC, Moody AFB, GA, and Tyndall AFB, FL. The Government is in the process of procuring consolidated Department of Defense (DOD) Regional Commercial Travel Office (CTO) services. The performance period for travel services subject to this CBD announcement will be 1 July 98 through 31 July 99. The purpose of this extension of services is to provide continued travel services to the affected bases until implementation of the DOD Regional Contracts. At present, Tyndall AFB, FL is scheduled for inclusion into the DOD Regional Contract 1 Apr 99. Shaw AFB, SC is scheduled for 15 Apr 99, and Moody AFB, GA is scheduled for 1 Aug 99. Moreover, it is also the Government's intent to negotiate provisons into the modification that will permit bases to fall from the current contract if the DOD Regional Contracts become effective sooner than scheduled.
