NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offer for Replacement of Fuel Tank at Central Steam Plant at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: Designing and installing a 125,000 gallon heated, insulated fuel tank, associated mechanical work and the demolition of the existing fuel tank. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, scaffolding, rigging, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of the specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1791. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 6/30/98 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 7/30/98. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
