The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services necessary for and incidental to renovation of 29,000 square feet of space, per Postal Service approved plans and specifications. The work will include but not be limited to demolition, earthwork, site improvements, interior renovations, HVAC, and roof replacement. Contractors must have all required state and local licenses for this type of work in the above-stated area. The Mid-Atlantic Facilities Service Office has a goal of 10% for minority subcontracting and encourages subcontracting opportunities for minority and woman-owned businesses. Offeror must provide, at time proposal is due, documentation from bonding agent stating offeror's bonding capability. Performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price and payment bonds in the amount of 40% of the contract price will be required from the successful offeror within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award. Corporate sureties must appear on the list in Treasury Circular 570. The estimated cost of the project is between $1,500,000 and $1,800,000 with construction completion within 180 calendar days.
