The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), Center for Disease Control (CDC) through the General Acquisitions Branch, PSC plans to award a sole source acquisition utilizing simplified acquistion procedures to Gordon N. Stowe and Associates in Dayton, OH. The purpose of the acquisition is to purchase six (6) Acoustic Impedence Tympanometers, #MCI 2122, with RS 232 port and cable and six (6) Interacoustics Diagnostic Audiometer, #AD226 with Eartone 3A insert earphones and RS232 interface cable to gather hearing and acoustic impedance data for the Fourth National Health Nutritition and Examination Survey (NHANES IV). This equipment must be exactly like the equipment now in use to meet the survey requirement of statistically compatible data. Closing date is June 29, 1998. No solicitation package is available.
