Blake, Purchasing Agent, (509) 354-8039 The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Spokane Research Laboratory, intends to purchase on a sole source basis an intrinsically permissable safe and waterproof data retrieval system capable of reading, strain gages, vibrating wires, string pots, biaxial gages, holo- exculsion cells, pressure transducers, borehole cells, extensometers, thermisters and sagmeters from Campbell Scientific, Inc. (815 W 1800 N., Logan, UT 84321-1784). This system must be MSHA approved and includes (1) p/n CR10QM Data Acquisition Module, (2)p/n SM716QM Storage Module 2/7-16K, (3) p/n 9670 AM416 Stack Bracket, (4) p/n AM416QM Alkaline Power Supply, (5) p/n 020ALKQM Alkaline Power Supply, (6) p/n ENC 16/18 System Enclosure, (7) ENC 12/14 System Enclosure, (8) SC32A Data Interphase, (9) SC532 9 pin Module Interphase. All interested parties may identify their interests, but must provide proof of capability, in writing, to provide an acceptable product by submitting pricing data, an accurate description of the equipment offered, and make and model numbers of the equipment. Since no solicitation package exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information to establish the vendor's capability of meeting the Government's needs will be considered non- responsive to this synopsis. Only responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. If no feasible responses are received by the close of business 15 days from the date of this notice appears in the CBD, a procurement will be named with the above-named source.
