This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-98-Q-Q027. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7379, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The requirement is for 1 year of maintenance for TACOM OPTICAL AUTOMATED REPORTING SYSTEM (TOPARS). The service provides a 500 Concurrent User License for Cachet software, modified to work in the TACOM LAN environment. An on-site person will assist in system administration, hardware support, help desk support, as well as installation of software upgrades and modifications on all of the servers at TACOM Warren. No options will be included. Services are for TACOM/AMSTA-RM-DCM, Warren, MI, and the performance period will begin 09/01/98. FOB Destination will apply.
