(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F64605-97-R0016. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. (iv) This solicitation is unrestricted. (v) Offerors shall provide a price list to include, as a minimum, all items listed in Technical Exhibits 2 through 4 of the Statement of Agency Need (SOAN) reflecting each category of items (Laundry, Dry Cleaning, and Medical/ Clinic). Price lists shall reflect "per pound" cost for non-clothing items and a "per piece" cost for clothing items. Prices shall include all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, supplies, taxes and fees necessary to perform this service. Price list shall reflect prices for the basic year (1Oct 98 -- 30 Sep 99) and four one-year option periods.
