Shepard, 910-341-8205, Contracting Officer Work shall consist of installing new lightning protection and grounding upgrade for twenty-one (21) 300 series truck pads in accordance with attached specifications and drawings at the Military Ocean Terminal, Sunny Point, located in Southport, North Carolina. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is contemplated for this solicitation. Estimated range of this project if from $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" (Public Law 100-656). All requests for solicitation packages must be made in writing. Requests may be faxed to (910) 341-8595. No collect calls will be accepted. This project is to be completed within 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). It is anticipated that NTP will not be issued on this project until May, 1999. Documents will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to one (1) perfirm. (Additional copies will be the responsibility of the requester. All Contractors receiving awards after May 31, 1998, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration.
