The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services necessary for and incidental to renovation of existing leased space, per Postal Service approved plans and specifications. The work will include adding a postal store and renovating the post office box lobby. The estimated cost of the project is between $400,000 and $600,000 with construction completion within 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Contractors must have all required state and local licenses for this type of work in the above-stated area. The Mid-Atlantic Facilities Service Office has a goal of 10% for minority subcontracting and encourages subcontracting opportunities for minority and woman-owned businesses. Offeror must provide, at time proposal is due, documentation from bonding agent stating offeror's bonding capability. Performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price and payment bonds in the amount of 50% of the contract price will be required from the successful offeror within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award.
