Aircraft system components for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle SOL N00421-98-R-1271 DUE 8/6/98 POC Jennifer Alvey, Contract Specialist, (301)757-9074 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to procure 30 each Pendant Assemblies (Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, Part Number 40157-43723-10), 20 each Pendant Assemblies (Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, Part Number 40157-43723-30), 30 each Pendant Assemblies (Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, Part Number 40157-43723-40), and 40 each Wing Straps (Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, Part Number 40157-40947-20) for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, P.O. Box 738, Hunt Valley, MD 21030-0738. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, is the sole supplier of these components and owns the proprietary data rights. This will be a firm fixed price contract.
