The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole source basis from Carrera Computers, Inc., the following items to maintain support to the Message Text Format (MTF) capability of the Multiple Unit Link Test and Operational Training System (MULTOTS) and the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) capability at the Aegis Computer Center (ACC) and Aegis Combat System Center (ACSC). The items are required for the on going timing functions, internet handling, bus architectures and priority schemes. Workstations must be capable to execute the MULTOTS MTF, the host computer must be able to interface with the Sabtech Navy Tactical Data Systems (NTDS) input/output (I/O) boards, p/n's EA-04101-00, EA-04102-00, EA-01103-04, EA-02101-00, used to interface the simulations computer program with the existing tactical AWS equipment. Carrera uses the DEC Alpha chip on their proprietary motherboard. Workstations must be compatible and workwith the existing equipment and computer programs. Systems are all real-time systems and therefore have critical timing functions. Y2K compliance is required where applicable. Award is based on all or none.
