70 -- GENERAL-PURPOSE AUTOMATED DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT (INCLUDING FIRMWARE), SOFTWARE, SUPPLIES, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT SOL 6TSA-98-DJH-0149 DUE 062298 POC Point of Contact -- Contact Delta Helm by fax (816)823-3322 The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Timeplex Federal Systems, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-98-DJH-0149. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-04. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A J&A for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement shall cover the following items: CLIN 1. Transport 3000 Man., part number EM8000, Qty. 1; CLIN 2. Sun SPC Module and workstation to LINK cables, part number T/V-2000 Kit, Qty. 1; CLIN 3. 31' cable for workstation Y2K Timeview 2000, part number 512750-3, Qty. 1; CLIN 4. Y2K Timeview 2000 Upgrade includes: Sun patches, Timeview 9.027 & installation, Qty. 3; CLIN 5. Shipping of Network; CLIN 6. Training of 6-8 students simultaneously at client location. FOB Thule, Greenland. No partial quotes will be considered. No substitutions will be allowed. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within 3 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
