This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 6. Solicitation number N00604-98-R-0020 applies and is issued as a Request for Proposal. 7. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. 8. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for one (1) line item as follows: Line item 0001: Quantity-17,800 Each; Item description: Carpet tiles, REMOVABLE, Anti-static, suitable for use with Tate Access Flooring System, die cut with four (4) positioning buttons to precisely locate and install, 24" X 24", Royal Air Force blue, Composition: BASF Zeftron 500 ZX soil and stain hiding solution, dyed yarn, two (2) ply twisted heather loop yarn construction, continuous conductive monofilament fiber, high density textured loop, Pile weight: 28 oz., Pile height: .093", Electrical Resistance: NFPA 99 RTT, RTG: 2.5 X 10 Ohms minimum and 1.0 X 10 Ohms maximum, Grounding path: RTG Connector(TM) 5mm copper strip w/clamp, Backing system: Dissipative PVC tile with fiberglass reinforced scrim and total weight of 130 oz.; Static Protection: Manufacturers warranty. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible contractor whose proposal is technically acceptable, in full compliance to all other requirements set forth in the solicitation and the lowest cost or price. The Government reserves the right to judge which proposals show the required capability and the right to eliminate from further consideration those proposals which are considered unacceptable and not capable of being made acceptable without major rewrite or revision. 15.
