Dubois, (860) 441-2873 #1-Numbered Notes This work provides for maintenance and repair of twelve U.S. Coast Guard Academy elevators. The successful contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and perform all operations in connection with maintaining and repairing the academy elevators and related equipment to ensure that all elevators comply with the provisions of ASME/ANSI A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators. The Standard Industrial Code is 7389. The solicitation shall include a base year, 1 Oct 1998 through 30 Sept 1999, plus four option years. A site visit will be held at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a date shall be announced in the solicitation. There is no charge for the Invitation for Bid packages.
