A -- TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE FHWA STRUCTURAL RESEARCH LABORATORIES SOL DTFH61-98-R-00087 DUE 073098 POC Mr. Alan Finfrock, (202)366-0125 The Federal Highway Administration has a requirement for non-personal technical support services at its 3 structural research laboratories located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, Virginia. The Contractor selected for this effort will be required to provide technical support from a team of structural research engineers, technicians, research assistants, and various civil and structural engineering research specialists. Work under the contract may include general engineering support, structural testing in both a laboratory and field setting and various reseach projects in the area of highway structural engineering. It is anticipated that the contract resulting from this planned solicitation shall have a 12 month base period with a Government option for 4 additional 12 month periods. This requirement is 100 Percent Set Aside for Small Business. All interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation by sending a written request, referencing the RFP number, and two self-addressed gummed mailing labels to the address indicated above. Telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be accepted. Note: All RFPs will be mailed on 3.5" diskettes in WordPerfect 6.1 format to offerors submitting written requests.
