R -- MODIFICATION TO THE NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFERENCE SERVICE CONTRACT POC Raymond C. German, Contracting Officer, 202.307.0613 The Office of Justice Programs intends to modify on a sole source basis Contract OJP-94-C-006, entitled NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFERENCE SERVICE, with Aspen Systems Corporation, 2277 Research Boulevard, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The modification will incorporate additional contract requirements for publication support, document distribution, and conference support services. These additional services pertain to Juvenile Justice Clearinghouse under Task 13, The Office of National Drug Control Policy, under Task 17, and The Office of the Assistant Attorney General (OAAG)/Office of Justice Program (OJP), under Task 18. Additionally, the performance period of the subject contract will be extended 3.5 months from August 15, 1997 through November 30, 1998. During the extended period, the Contractor shall continue performing the requirements of Tasks 1 through 12 for the National Institute of Justice, Task 13 for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Task 14 for the Office for Victims of Crime, Task 15 for the Bureau of Justice Statistics, Task 16 for the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Task 17 for the Office of National Drug Control Policy, and Task 18 for the Office of the Assistant Attorney General (OAAG)/Office of Justice Program (OJP). This extension will provide OJP with the necessary time needed to award a competitive contract for the follow-on NCJRS requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
