The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals for fabrication of new exhibits for Forts El Morro and San Cristobal at San Juan National Historic Site, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, facilities, and travel necessary to detail, fabricate, transport and install museum exhibits. Visitors to San Juan National Historic Site typically choose either Fort El Morro or Fort San Cristobal to explore, but do not visit both sites. For this reason, key interpretive exhibits have been duplicated and will be produced for each site. Work includes: Postaward Conference at Harpers Ferry Center, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; Site Visits to both Forts El Morro and San Cristobal, San Juan National Historic Site, San Juan, Puerto Rico; Preliminary and final exhibit drawings for an interactive map, electrical diagram identifying power sources, fiber optic map, artifact case details, reproduction flags and gun rack case; fabrication of exhibit structures, including artifact cases and lighting; develop and install exhibit security system; photographs; graphics; production of artifact mounts for reproductions; transportation of exhibits to installation site; and installation of exhibits. -- The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. -- All requests must be submitted in writing.
