TECHMATICS SUPPORT SERVICES CONTRACT The U.S. Postal Service intends to negotiate a task ordering type contract with Techmatics, Inc. Techmatics currently provides systems support and technical services for a large number of ongoing major Purchasing & Materials (P & M) programs including a major Materials Distribution and Inventory Management System and a Highway Contracting Support System, requiring highly specialized knowledge and unique capabilities of current P & M business processes and software applications which were developed, implemented and deployed by Techmatics over the last five years. The intended term of this partnering agreement is for five years with an option for up to five additional years. Techmatics has been an outstanding performer for the U.S. Postal Service and is a two time winner (1992 & 1998) and finalist (1997) of the Postal Service Quality Supplier Award.
