U.S. Air Force is seeking information regarding the provision of
training services for student pilots to be certified as
Pilot-in-Command in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and
provide dual instruction for currency. The services would be performed
at five locations as follows: Barksdale AFB, LA (5 aircraft); Minot
AFB, ND (3 aircraft); Dyess AFB, TX (4 aircraft); Ellsworth AFB, SD (5
aircraft) and Mt. Home AFB, ID (2 aircraft). The services would
include providing the training program to the student pilots, providing
the aircraft, and all on and off station maintenance of the aircraft.
The aircraft requirements are single engine turboprop, minimum of 2
seats or light twin engine turboprop/turbojet. Average of 500 flight
hours per year per aircraft. Interested sources should submit a
statement of capability as well as a rough order of magnitude for the
provision of these services on a yearly basis. Please send responses to
