Demolition and removal of dumbwaiter car, track, doors, controls and
miscellaneous hardware; installation of a vertical and horizontal cable
tray system. Work also includes installation of access doors and floor
grating at each interstitial level; restoration of 2-hour rated shaft
wall assemblies where the 2-hour rating has been compromised by the
removal of dumbwaiter-related equipment. AVAILABILITY: The solicitation
for this project will be issued as a Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD ROM
ONLY. EBS Disks will be available on or about 7 July 98 at no charge
per Disk. EBS Disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis
until supply is exhaused. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB
number DACA67-98-B-0025 when ordering. Requests MUST be in writing and
be received before bid EBS Disks will be mailed. Requests may be FAX'd
to (206)764-6817 or sent via e-mail to plans-room-cenws-
ct@usace.army.mil, an additional confirmation copy need not be mailed.
Please be sure to include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS
Disks may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between
the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Submit requests by 1 July 98.
Estimated dollar value is in the range of $100,000 to $500,000 and
completion period is 180 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code
is 1542. Project is open to both large and small businesses. For the
purposes of this procurement a concern is considered a small business
if its average annual receipts are $17 million or less. Visit the Corps
