Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) Work involves construction of 4,638 square meter, three story dormitory facility with supporting fire sprinkler systems, HVAC, hydraulic elevator, communications wiring, site work, and utilities. The dormitory facility will be a steel framed structure with composite floor framing. The standing seam metal roof will be conventionally framed with joists bearing on ridge beams. Exterior walls will consist of split face CMU on an inner wythe structural CMU. Interiors consist of wall paper on sheet rock, tile bathrooms, carpet, and hard ceilings. Site work includes asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutters, landscaping, irrigation system and area lighting. Demolition of an existing building containing asbestos is required. Bidders, subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms are encouraged to register on the Internet to receive one CD-ROM. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required.
