Postal Service is soliciting proposals for an indefinite quantity contract (IQC) for general construction projects at various USPS-owned and leased processing and distribution facilities in northern California. The area encompasses Santa Barbara, Kern and Tulare Counties in the south, and is bordered by the Sierra Nevada-Cascades on the east and the California-Oregon state line on the north. Contract term will be two years. Initial contract value is $500,000. Postal Service has the option to increase the potential value of the contract in increments of $500,000, not to exceed $3,000,000. Quantity of work ordered will not be less than $10,000. Offerors are required to submit a single multiplier to be applied to unit prices to determine the value of each work order issued. The multiplier must contain the offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Multiple contract awards may result from this solicitation. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract(s) is 10%. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of current State of California contractor license in the name of the offeror/contractor or principal of the firm must be received within ten days after receipt of intent-to-award letter. The Postal Service does not accept individual sureties. There is a non-refundable charge of $25 for a copy of the solicitation.
