The landfill has been closed since the late 1970's however, some unsolicited dumping is still occurring. Work involves removal of debris, grading of embankment to allow for revegetation, hauling and placing a cover of unclassified excavation and topsoil and seeding. Project is located at milepost 91.8 off of Colorado State Highway 550 south of Ouray, CO approximately 1 mile. Located on the Ouray Ranger District, Ouray County, CO. Estimated price range is between S25,000 -- S100,000. Contract time is 30 calendar days. All responsible sources will be considered by the agency. (0167)
