MK 89 MOD 1 Suspension bands to be provided in accordance with Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing Number 6207627 and its associated drawings in support of the MK 50 torpedo program. The solicitation is currently anticipated to include a base quantity of 250 sets with an option for 250 additional sets to be ordered within one year of contract award. Four, one-year option periods will also be included during which additional sets may be ordered based upon two stepladder quantities of 250 sets. Over five years up to 2,000 sets may be ordered. A first article consisting of four sets will be required unless a waiver is granted. Periodic testing of one set per 100 set production run will also be required. Delivery of first articles is desired within 180 days after contract award. Delivery of periodic samples is desired within 120 days of first article approval. Delivery of production quantities is desired within 90 days of periodic sample approval. Initial inspection shall be at sourcewith final inspection/acceptance at destination which is Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, WA. FOB Keyport, WA. Award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government considering price and past performance. In ordered to be eligible for award, offerors are required to have an ISO 9001 compliant quality program. The procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns.
